Chief 's Story

Chief!!

This handsome senior boy is a staffy mix. He’s roughly 10 years old, and weighs around 70 pounds!

Chief has been in the same home with the same owner since he was 3 months old. He’s been raised around small kids, dogs of all sizes, and cats. He will need slow proper intros with cats, because it’s been a while, but he has the ability to coexist under one roof! He likes other dogs, and loves Cali his dog bestie, but will need proper intros to new dogs.

Chief grew up in a home with lots of love, and exposure to kids/dogs/cats, Unfortuntly his owner is having to rehome him due to personal life circumstances. Chief and his best friend Cali are together 24/7, but we think Chief is fine with another resident dog, or even as a solo dog if he has a person he gets to spend a lot of time with. His current situation isn’t ideal long term, him and his buddy Cali are pulling long days by themselves at home, with little stimulation or outside time.

Chief would thrive in a forever home where he gets to lay around and take naps, sun bathe in a yard, play ball or chew on a stick outside, go for nice mellow walks, and be your copilot! He also LOVES to swim, and loves car rides! Chief is a huge cuddle bug, who thinks he’s a lap dog- If you’re wanting a snuggly affectionate boy, this is your guy!! Chief is full of love, and likes to show you his appreciation with his smooches.

He’s potty trained, and can be left alone for long periods of time. He’s a low maintenance guy, who likes to follow you around, and take long siestas through out the day. He still has a lot of spunk in him, and would make an excellent adventure buddy. He knows basic commands, and has good recall and also great with corrections.

Chief would make the perfect home companion for someone, or a fantastic family dog, he adores children! He may be older, but still full of life. The older years are the golden years- low maintenance, already trained, and grateful for love and attention.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a mellow buddy to your life to join you on walks, and fill your home and heart with love, chief would fit the bill perfectly! He’s the sweetest soul, and anyone would be so lucky to share some years of life with him!

If Chief sounds as dreamy as he is, please copy and paste an application below to set up a meet n greet!!

https://form.jotform.com/232265690912155

***Chief is available for fostering, and also fostering to adopt!
