Chico's Story
Chico is 5 years old and 17 pounds. He is the ultimate lap dog. Chico is sadly looking for a new home as it was discovered that he has an old shoulder injury that makes his current active life on a farm not sustainable. He is looking for a home where he can relax, take leisurely walks with his person, enjoy lap cuddles etc. He is good with other dogs.

Chico is 100% a lap dog. If there is a lap he will be in it.

He has a pretty good recall and walks very politely on a leash.

During his initial transition in Vermont, he did have a few accidents in the house. A more frequent potty schedule (especially by making sure he goes out before we eat dinner) and rewarding for elimination outside seems to have solved that.

He will happily go into his kennel during the day as long as the door is left open. He will kennel at night if the kennel is in a bedroom with a person but he would probably prefer to be snuggled in with you.

He loves chew toys! He is also a very smart boy, he likes puzzle feeders and brain games.

If you think you can give this sweet little guy the relaxing home he needs please fill out an application.

https://www.vermontenglishbulldogrescue.com/non-bulldog-application/
