Chico's Story

Attention Chihuahua Lovers meet our little Chico! A 7 year old, 6.2lb. little boy who lost his human mommy. He loved her very much but he is willing to open his heart to another! He is a tiny little snuggle bug who loves to burrow in his blankies, follow you around the house and watch over the house with his siblings.

He is great with all dogs, big and small and cats too. He is learning not to be enchanted by the birds in their cages but give him a squirrel outside and he is off the races!

One thing though, he is shy at first. He has been pretty sheltered with his original mommy and gets nervous around new people. It will take this little guy a patient home that will allow him to come around on his own terms. Just let him be and let him come to you. He needs a moment to learn you are a good person and he can trust you.

He is house-trained and a fenced yard would be preferred. (Fencing must be tight.. he would fit through rails that are 4 inches apart). He is also crate-trained.

The perfect home for this lovebug would be decently quiet (no toddlers due to his size), another dog would be nice but not required, a patient owner(s) and some warm little blankies to wrap himself in. He does like to sleep in the bed and be wherever you are (i.e. Velcro dog). He also does know how to get out of the way (so he doesnt get stepped on) but if you have two, large, rambunctious dogs, he can easily get hurt.

If you believe you have the right home to receive and give love to little Chico, please compete our application: https://dogsunlimited.wufoo.com/forms/z13ycra1dgxxz0/
