Chico is with a wonderful foster who is working with him and has shared the following: He reports that Chico is gaining confidence when meeting new people, loves the dog park, and visits every day. He is housebroken, crate-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He is ready for a forever family that likes to visit a dog park and take walks every day!<br/><br/>Chico is about 1.5-2 years old and weighs roughly 15-17 pounds. He is very affectionate once you get to know him. He will follow you around and jump onto a chair when you’re nearby, so you can rub his ears or scratch his head. He's a friendly pup! Chico will bark at knocks or doorbells. He would do well on hikes and going for runs with an active person. Chico really wants to please, so he learns quickly when he understands what you want him to do. He also enjoys going on walks and car rides. Chico loves to play and chase toys or balls. <br/><br/>Chico is shy until he gets to know you, then is very affectionate and playful. He would love to live with someone who works permanently from home, or with retired person(s). Chico wants lots of love, affection, and attention and prefers a homebody, so he can be with you!! He wants someone to love!! He loves to be petted, and to get a belly rub. Chico likes to play with other dogs, and he likes to play with toys. Chico knows how to use a doggie door if he moves to a home in a safe area. He is house-trained and does well on car rides or when he's going to the vet’s office. He needs time to get to know you, then he’s extremely Loyal to you!!<br/><br/>Chico's adoption fee is $325.
