Chicky would do best with an adopter who has experience with reactive or behaviorally sensitive dogs and understands how to manage introductions, read canine body language, and continue building her confidence. She also needs a low-traffic home with few visitors, where life is predictable and she won't be overwhelmed by a constant stream of new faces.<br/><br/>Because she still requires slow, thoughtful introductions to unfamiliar people, a calm, patient household is essential. Young children wouldn't be a good fit, but a home with playful canine companions would be wonderful—Chicky absolutely loves to run, wrestle, and play with other dogs. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. The local adoption fee for pick up in Gulfport, MS is $75. If you want the dog transported to New Orleans or Pensacola the total fee is $100.<br/><br/>VETTING:<br/><br/>All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee breed mix for full grown size.
