Hi, I’m Chicken Tender! I’m a tiny girl with a big heart, and I’ve been waiting at the Stafford County Animal Shelter since August 28, 2025, hoping someone will notice me. I don’t know much about my past, I came to the shelter as a stray, but I do know one thing for sure: I’m ready for a forever home and a family to call my own. I may be small, but I have the love and energy of a dog ten times my size. I adore running my zoomies, both inside and out, and I go absolutely crazy for toys and soft, cuddly things. After a day of playing, I love nothing more than curling up in my blanket and watching the world go by, dreaming of the family who will finally see me for the sweet, gentle girl I am. It’s been hard watching the days go by with no one stopping to meet me. I hope someone will notice my puppy eyes, my pint-sized love, and my big heart. I’m ready to melt the heart of the person who takes the chance on me and to steal a permanent spot in their family... and their heart. I’ve been spayed, microchipped, and am up to date on my rabies vaccine, so there are no adoption restrictions, I’m ready to go home anywhere! If you think you have room for a little dog with so much love to give, please come meet me. I’m ready to show you how special I can be.
