Meet Chichi
Chichi had her 1-year anniversary with us on 01/09/2024. We are hoping with our whole heart she will find her home soon!
Before coming to us, she was at the pound for almost 2 months. That means Chichi has spent the last year of her life in a shelter. That's a whole year without knowing a comfy bed at night. That's a whole year without knowing if she will ever find a loving home again. That's a long time to keep the faith and hope for that perfect person or people to find you.
But we do know the perfect home is out there for her!
For a year, Chichi is searching for her person/people after her previous owner passed away. She's been with us since January 2023. We desperately need to find her people and get her into a home environment where she can relax, decompress, and finally live a life full of love, playtime, and the consistency that she needs.
At about 6 yrs old, Chichi's playful spirit shines through whenever she's given a toy, or bouncing around with her bone. She rides fantastically in the car, actually loves it! She walks pretty good on the leash, but needs some work. Her nose will take her, and you, in many directions! She is so incredibly smart and wants to please. Chichi knows 'sit', 'wait', 'here/come', 'ball', 'inside' and recently learned to roll over. She will excel with basic training and consistency.
Chichi would love to be a single dog in a home that is experienced with her breed, or an experienced dog owner that can handle her intensity and drive. She also would like a home with no small children or pets. We know that is a lot to ask, but if you give this amazing, sweet girl a chance she will never leave your side and will be your best friend forever. Once out of our kennels, she may be perfectly content to have a doggie door and a fenced in yard where she can run around and play with all her toys, then relax inside with you on a comfy bed or couch :)
