Chicco's Story

Meet Chicco
Chicco is a one-year-old terrier/Shih Tzu mix with a heart as big as his smile. Weighing just 6.5 kg, this happy little guy is the perfect blend of playful and calm.
Chicco loves people and truly shines when he’s close to his humans. He enjoys cuddling on the couch, playing fetch (and yes — he brings the ball back and drops it right at your feet), and exploring the outdoors where he happily chases squirrels and rabbits. He’ll play for a bit and then happily settle in for snuggles. He has excellent house manners and is fully house trained, letting you know when he needs to go outside.

Personality & Home Fit
-Loves kids, but best suited for children 5+
-Would thrive in a quiet home
-Can be sensitive to loud or chaotic environments
-Prefers not to be left alone for long periods (mild separation anxiety that should improve with time and consistency)

Ideal Home
-A calm family or individual
-A fenced yard is required — Chicco loves being outside and can jump surprisingly high for his size
Does not need another dog in the home

Training Notes
-Crate training is a work in progress (short daytime success so far)
-Not very food-motivated
-Leash skills are just beginning and progressing slowly

Medical
-Neutered
-Recently examined and vaccinated (Jan 9)
- Currently finishing treatment for a mild ear infection
Extra Cute Factor
Chicco is an incredibly happy boy who wants nothing more than to be close to his people.
