Chica - terrier mix's Story

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.

Meet Chica! Chica is approximately 4 years old, 32 lbs currently and she is a true Mutt! She was surrendered after her owner could no longer care for her. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house training, crate training and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 10+, and other dogs her size or smaller. She has not been exposed to cats.

Her foster says, "Chica is a little shy but warms up quickly. She's non-destructive, very sweet, loves going for walks and likes to run around in the yard. She does well in her crate, has never pulled when leashed, is the easiest ever while bathing, has only had an occasional accident inside now and loves frozen peanut butter kongs. Chica loves her humans and would love to have a family of her own."

She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth mid to late January.
