Meet ChiChi 4yrs old | 11lbs ChiChi is an energetic, outdoorsy pup who is currently recovering from a left eye enucleation and cryptorchid neuter (1/8). While he continues to heal, we're also getting to know him better and helping him feel more comfortable as he settles into a routine. At this time, ChiChi is not a fan of being touched and appreciates having his personal space respected. He's looking for a calm, patient home that understands that trust can take time and is willing to let the relationship grow at his pace. He will need to be the only dog in the home. What ChiChi loves most is staying active! He's a high-energy guy who thrives on: Long walks and time outdoors Playing ball and engaging activities Mental and physical enrichment ChiChi is expressive and currently uses his voice to communicate his needs, especially when he's feeling excited or wants something. With consistency and guidance, this is something we're actively working on, and his future foster or adopter should be open to continuing that work. Structure has been really helpful for ChiChi as he recovers and adjusts. He does best with: Clear, consistent boundaries Staying off furniture A drag leash indoors to help guide and support good habits ChiChi is looking for an experienced, committed home that enjoys an active lifestyle and understands the value of routine. Waggytail Rescue's Adoption Policy

Thank you for considering adopting one of our Waggytails! Adopting from us is a simple 3 step process! STEP 1: Download and complete an adoption application (www.waggytailrescue.org) and email to adopt@waggytailrescur.org. Applications will be reviewed by us and if approved we will put you in contact with the animal's foster who will answer any questions you may have and check your references. Incomplete applications cannot be considered. STEP 2: The meet and greet, a chance for you and your other family members (human and non-human) to meet your potential new Waggytail! This is the time to determine whether a dog's personality is a match for your whole family and other animals, and to see if you have allergies. Please don't wait until after adopting to really touch and handle a dog, skip the antihistamines and get those allergens all over you now! STEP 3: You love the dog! To finalize an adoption, fill out and sign the TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP AGREEMENT (www.waggytailrescue.org) and use Paypal, Venmo or a check for the Adoption Fee (see details below). Dog Adoption/Donation Fees $550 for puppies under 1 year $450 for dogs 1 to 8 years $325 for seniors over 9 years of age Cat Adoption/Donation Fees for all cats $175 *Kittens under 6 months old MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another playful cat.* adoption fee includes microchip registration, age-appropriate vaccines, and spay/neuter *Add $100 neuter deposit for unfixed animals. The ADOPTION FEE may be paid by Venmo (@WaggytailRescue) or Paypal (waggytailrescue@gmail.com, add $15 processing fee unless using Friends & Family option). Please put the name of the dog in the memo section! Electronic payment is preferred, but you may also pay by check (payable to Waggytail Rescue). We use Petstablished to manage our adoption records. After an adoption is finalized, you will be sent login information that gives you access to your new dog's profile and medical records!
