Chewy's Story
Chewy is a female silver dapple dachshund who came into the rescue when her elderly female owner died. Her favorite things are snuggling with you on your lap and in the bed. She hasn’t had much exposure, so she is learning how to be a dog, how to interact with other dogs and men. Everything is new for the first time. Chewy weighs 14.4 pounds, and her birthday is 6/3/22.

You also may want to check out our Facebook page Dachshund Rescue of Ohio which posts videos of Chewy and other dogs in the rescue.
