At just 9 months old, he was tied up to a tree because he jumped up. Until a few weeks ago, he remained a prisoner for over 2 years.<br/>He came into our adoption center quite fearful of everyone. He didn't like being in a crate or being leashed for walks. He now loves both! He will do almost anything for CHEESE! He has not had any crate or house accidents. He seems to really appreciate his big dog bed, living inside, and mostly feeling safe!<br/><br/>With much love and patience, he has really blossomed into an incredible boy! As most boxers are, .... he is energetic, goofy, playful, and loves human interaction.<br/><br/>As precaution due to his past, we would recommend no other pets or children in the home.<br/><br/>To meet this sweet pup, please email TheLongWayHomeRescue@gmail.com. The volunteers at our Adoption Center look forward to talking with you! Please be patient with response time. We will be email you back as soon as we can, with a Zoom appointment time to meet your family and pets!<br/><br/>Requirements:<br/>-Fenced in yard (no exceptions)<br/>-Adoption fee $100 (all pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and socialized)<br/>-Zoom call<br/>-Adoption contract<br/>-Travel to Athens, AL to meet your potential new family member<br/><br/>*Our rescue staff is diligent to crate train and house train all animals.
