At just 16lbs, he was absolutely terrified and let everyone know to keep away. We just knew we had to have him the second we saw his picture! <br/><br/>Chewy can be selective about who he likes but once he trusts you you are his for life! He seems to particularly be drawn to our younger children. He has gotten along with everyone in the house- men and women. He is tolerant of other dogs as long as they are respectful. We have noticed he does NOT like sharing his food and will need to be fed separately. He doesnt seem to be a huge fan of his crate but will go in it for food. He does love to play with toys, Sleep in beds and on furniture, go on walks, run full speed around the yard and will sit for treats. <br/><br/><br/>To move Forward with a meet and greet please Fill out an application.<br/><br/>You will be contacted by adoption coordinator if they have questions or you are approved to adopt. <br/><br/>_______________________________________________<br/>***If you choose to adopt (before all vetting is complete) and use your own vet rather than our local Snip Clinic for these services, you do so at your own expense and it will not reduce the adoption fee. Adoption fees are NON NEGOTIABLE.<br/><br/>1.) All dogs are adopted to the best possible match and calling or emailing the rescue will not speed up the process or liken your chances of being chosen.<br/><br/>2.) You will be notified by adoption coordinator if your application is approved. Adoptions are set up by appointment only. We do not have “hours” of operation.<br/><br/>3.) If the dog is posted as Available on Petfinder, it is available but may have pending applications and meet and greets set up.<br/><br/>4.) If you are not ready to immediately meet the dog you are applying for, please do not apply- we are too busy for window shoppers! Every dog is available to be taken home with you at the time of the meet and greet.<br/><br/>5.) We recommend you bring a carrier with you to transport the dog home as some can get carsick. Adult dogs and most puppies over 6 months of age will require a slip lead.<br/><br/>6.)
