Weighing in at just 13 lbs, Chewy may be small, but his personality is really starting to show. <br/><br/>Chewy came to us when his owner could no longer care for him (no fault of his). At first, Chewy can be scared of new people but with a patience, structure, and love, his true sweet self will show. Chewy's adopter will need to give him a short bit of time to let him become acclimated to his new home. An adult only home would be best for Chewy. Thanks to the love and patience of his foster home, he’s really blossomed into a loving little boy. Chewy’s learning the ropes, but he has shown he’s eager to embrace the good life! <br/><br/>A few things Chewy loves:<br/><br/>Treats and his food<br/>Snuggling with his favorite humans on the couch under the blanket.<br/><br/>Chewy prefers to be the only dog. He is good with cats. He’s crate trained and is getting the hang of leash walking. Chewy is doing good with eliminating outside. He’s looking for a quiet forever home that can continue his training and provide him with the security and love he deserves.<br/><br/>A fenced-in yard would be a big plus for Chewy, giving him a safe space to play and explore.
