Hi! My name is Chewie and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer on September 10, 2026. I weigh 91lbs and am considered a large breed dog. I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to hang out with you at home! I am full of energy! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. I would do best in a home with older children. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Our adoptions are done on a "first-come, first-served" basis so please come in as a walk-in visitor for a meet-and-greet from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. If you would like more information on an adoptable animal please come in during business hours as we will not be able to return phone call or email inquiries. We really appreciate your understanding and look forward to helping you find your new pet!
