Chewie

Chewie is a nice medium size boy that was picked up by Animal Control after a kind homeowner called the shelter about some dogs in her yard that she didn't know. Animal Control picked up the dogs and brought them to the safety of the shelter. Chewie was never claimed by his owner and he is now ready for adoption. Chewie has all of his vaccinations, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. One problem did show up on health check up. Chewie is heartworm positive, but we are not worried! The shelter already has his treatment all set up and he is eager to begin his road to a healthy life! It would be great if Chewie could find a foster to help him through his treatment. What would be even better is if that foster would fall in love with him and then adopt him as a member of the family! We all love happy endings!
