Chewbacca (Chewy)

Loving Chewbacca got his name, well because he does a better Chewbacca impression than Chewbacca himself. He’s a little expressive- which is one of the things we love about him. And he's such a love. He is a rescue favorite for sure! He’s been such a great guest here! With his “comments” to let us know his thoughts, to how much he has grown in the short time here. Chewy walks well on a lead and loves his walks. He needs a yard to run in as well. He loves loving attention, and responds so gratefully. Such a complete Love Bug. He sits on command and just wants to please. House trained. He is truly something special and we have been so proud to have saved this amazing boy. He initially showed intense interest in the rescues chickens, he was easily redirected away from them, and now runs free leaving their area alone. He truly responds quickly to new training as he just wishes to please. He gets giddy when you brush him and it’s really a fun thing to watch.
