Chewy is a 9-year-old, 23 lb Pomeranian mix looking for a home with adults who will appreciate his sweet, silly personality. He is dog friendly, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash. His hind legs are sensitive and aren't what they used to be, so gentleness is important. He enjoys short walks, playing chase, and small squeaky or crinkly balls he can carry. He also loves playing under the blankets and playfully nipping at your hands through them! Chewy loves treats and will happily show off his tricks for them. He knows sit, stay, come, lay down, spin, and shake. He may limp after a hard run but typically bounces back quickly, so keeping his activity gentle is best. Chewy will need grooming a few times a year and does great for it. Don't be afraid to give him a summer shave-his fur will be back by winter! He loves snow and splashing in water, sleeps best on a bed underneath your bed if he can, and is scared of vacuums but completely unbothered by fireworks.
