Chevy's Story

MEET Chevy

Chevy is a 1.5-year-old English Bulldog mix weighing in at a sturdy 45 pounds of pure love and personality. She came to rescue when her owner's living situation changed and they were no longer able to provide the care she deserved. Now, Chevy is ready for a fresh start with a family who can give her the time, attention, and affection she thrives on.

This playful girl is still very much a puppy at heart! Chevy knows some basic commands like sit and stay, and she's eager to keep learning—especially when treats are involved. She loves playing with toys, enjoys a good game of fetch, and is always up for an adventure!

Chevy is affectionate and people-oriented, happiest when she's close to her humans soaking up hugs, cuddles, and love. She does well with other dogs and has recently met a cat; she's still figuring out how she feels about feline friends. Due to her size and youthful energy, Chevy would do best with older, dog-savvy children who can comfortably handle her enthusiasm.

If you're searching for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Chevy may be your perfect match. She's ready to give her whole heart to a family who will return it with plenty of love and happiness she deserves!

Chevy is:
Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies
Dewormed
Heartworm Tested: Negative
Receiving Heartworm and Flea Prevention
Microchipped
Spayed

ADOPTION FEE: $375

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry.

Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal's temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different.

While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.

FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
