Chevy is your man!<br/><br/>Chevy was found as a stray by animal control, wandering around covered in fleas, ticks, and a lot of dirt. He was likely injured by a car at some point, as he has some scarring from healing wounds on his back legs. We still can't believe his owner never came for him, because he's the BEST guy around. We simply couldn't say no to that face. Once in our care, he got some much needed pampering, and has been a perfect boy since day one. <br/><br/>Chevy is a gentle soul, looking for a comfy couch to hang out on, a few stuffies to carry around, and a good ear scratch. He's amazing with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, great with cats, incredibly gentle with kids, great on a leash, fully potty trained and crate trained. I mean, what more could you ask for?!<br/><br/>He will wait for you by the door and greet you with an adorable smile, or his favorite stuffed toy at the end of the day. He enjoys the occasional game of fetch, or a nice stroll around the neighborhood. He's also pretty darn happy to lounge around and thump his tail on the ground when he sees you. His tail never stops wagging- he's just a happy guy, ready to slide into your life like he's always been there. <br/><br/>Chevy's adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm/tickborne disease screening, senior blood work, deworming, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. While Chevy did test negative for heartworm disease and tickborne diseases, we highly recommend rechecking his heartworm test in 6 months given the conditions he was found in. <br/><br/>He's wise beyond his years, with so much love to give.
