Chevy's Story

Meet Chevy!

Chevy is a sweet, shy boy who may need a little time to come out of his shell, but once he feels comfortable, his playful and friendly personality shines through. He loves affection and being close to his people just on his own terms. Chevy appreciates having the time and space to build trust and will let you know when he’s ready for some love and attention.

Chevy has a terrible kennel presence, but please don’t let that fool you! What you see in his kennel is not a true reflection of the sweet, playful dog he is once he’s outside and comfortable. Give him a chance to leave his kennel, decompress, and get to know you, and you’ll see a much softer side of this special boy.

Because Chevy can be timid, he would do best in an adult-only home or with older, calm children who understand and respect his boundaries. A quieter home where he can feel safe and secure would be ideal for him.

Chevy would also be happiest as the only pet in the home, where he can have all the attention and patience he deserves.

If you’re willing to look past his kennel nerves and give this shy boy the time, patience, and understanding he needs, you may discover an incredibly loving and playful companion underneath it all. Chevy just needs someone willing to see the dog he truly is.
