Chevy was brought to the shelter with a bad sore on his ear. Chevy is a super friendly dark chocolate lab mix. He is about 2 years old and weighs 51 pounds. Chevy has been neutered, microchipped, and is UTD on all his shots plus he tested negative for heartworms. This sweet boy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them in the play yard. However, Chevy likes his toys so much that he doesn’t want to share them so any children in the home should be older children. Chevy also knows basic commands and showed no interest in cats. As with any of our dogs, if there are other dogs in the home a meet and greet is required prior to adoption. You can meet Chevy by coming by during our adoption hours or by emailing or calling the shelter at 309-647-5077. His adoption fee is $100 and that includes his rabies shot, neutering, microchip, defleaing, and deworming.
