Chet's Story

Young Chet was abandoned by his previous family on the side of the road. A nice woman saw it happen and was able to stop and get Chet before he was hit and hurt by a car, or worse. She took him by a vet, scanned him for a chip, which he didn't have. She took him home and tried to find his previous family and answers to why this sweet boy had been abandoned. Chet loved the woman, but not so much her husband, so they reached out to us for help.

Chet is about 2 years old. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention. He is also on flea/tick prevention. He is neutered and chipped. He is not housetrained, but working on it. He loves to be with his people. He is a little leery of men but absolutely loves women! We feel he would be best in a home without children. He loves attention and enjoys playing with his toys. He is great with other dogs. He walks great on a leash. He loves to run, so a fenced yard or someone able to exercise him with walks, will be best for him. He weighs 18# and is full grown

If you are interested in Chet, please go to our website and complete an adoption application.

https://acfrescue.weebly.com/adoption-foster-and-volunteer-applications.html

Chet's adoption fee is $150

**More photos will be posted soon!
