He has energy, exuberance, and would be considered the life of a party if he were a person. <br/><br/>Chester loves outside time, will play some fetch, does some laps around the yard, and would love to find a place of his own so he doesn’t have to go back to the chaotic shelter kennel life. Chester can be a bit jumpy at times so good manners are a much for this lad in a home. He does know sit, enjoys some good treats, and will surely learn even more in a home. He will also need some direction on his leash skills but that is all part of dog ownership especially with the younger pups. <br/><br/>He does enjoy pets of praise, and will engage when ready to settle down. <br/>He did pass his initial dog/dog assessment with some shelter dogs he has met but a meet /greet is needed with any resident dog in a home. The volunteers are happy to chat about transition into a home, and the steps needed to set everyone up for success. <br/><br/>If you can give Chester the time, patience and direction he is looking for.. come on down and meet him.
