Cherry Great Pyrenees Richmond, VA

You've probably seen more of my pups than you have of me. I'm Cherry and I gave birth to ten healthy and beautiful puppies on 2/2/22. I arrived at AGPR from a hoarding situation out near the Virginia mountains along with four other Pyrs. We weren't sure of the "family ties" but have had fun checking out DNA results as the others are adopted and tested. We currently believe the three of us girls are sisters and are waiting for learn more about the two males. I am the last adult waiting to be adopted to a loving home.

I have to tell you that when we arrived (January 20, 2022), no one at AGPR knew two of us were pregnant. But, SURPRISE, Shenandoah and I gave birth within a week of each other, Shenandoah started us off less than a week after arriving...boy, did the volunteers ever have their hands full! And they did a great job pampering us. I had a personal "hand maiden" every night to help me manage my ten little ones.

I'm currently enjoying my new BFF, Gandolph. He is a shy male who needs some confidence. The two of us spend the day together in a large outdoor exercise area and make sure any newcomers are welcomed with choruses of barks. He's very handsome and not at all dominant, so we get along just fine. I am a little picky about my male companions, so a meet and greet is necessary. Not a fan of sharing my future home with another female canine...perhaps it is the little bit of "diva" in me???
