She going to be 4 months old soon and she is doing well with new dog friends of all sizes. She needed to move to a new foster to help with her cage and house training and she is doing very well. Cherie and her brother are quite bonded so unless she gets adopted with him, she will need a playful confident dog buddy. Cherie likes to be held ands he also loves to be petted. Cherie also wants to be where ever you are-- she and her brother follow me around the yard like I am their momma. Cherie is still a little girl weighing around 15lbs, but she is still growing and will probably weigh 30lbs or more as an adult. Cherie takes after her momma and LOVES to play fetch- she is brilliant!! She seems to favor her Beagle side and has the most beautiful brown eyes. Cherie is so ready to find her new Foster to Adopt home. <br/><br/>July 2026: Cherie is a delightful puppy and ready for her forever home. She is about 3 months old now and getting close to being house trained. Her cage training is going well. Cherie plays so well with her brother and the resident senior dog and we would like her to find a new loving family that has a playful companion for her to help with her confidence building. She is about 14lbs now and may grow to be about 30lbs as an adult. Look at her pretty face- she is so charming!!<br/><br/>***DNA NEWS*** I have some of Cherie's results posted at the Emma's Family Facebook page. Wisdom Panel shows that the puppies have several breeds mixed into their genetics. Besides Beagle, of course, there is also Chihuahua, Pomeranian and Toy Fox Terrier. The Pom influence can explain their beautiful soft coats!! <br/><br/>Cherie was born on April 7th to the cutest most amazing Beagle we rescued from a shelter in Central, Illinois. We are not sure who the daddy is but we do plan to DNA test when they are 6 weeks old and hope to get an idea. The puppies are doing great, growing like weeks and their mamma Emma is playing with them and their foster mom and friends are handling. They will be confident little pups when it is time for them to move to their new families.<br/><br/>We are only looking for Foster to Adopt in the Chicaqo area with safe fenced in yards. As Beagles are very social dogs, it would be ideal if the puppies find homes with other friendly confident dogs. I can go over our Foster to Adopt protocols once an application is in.
