Cher (The Groovy Duo)'s Story

Meet Cher!

Cher is an adorable young Plott Hound mix puppy with a big personality, a lot of opinions, and apparently a personal vendetta against containment.

This girl is **spunky, rowdy, playful, and BUSY.** Baby gates? Suggestions. Fences? A challenge. Dirt? Obviously meant for digging. If there's a way over, under, around, or possibly *through* something, Cher would like the opportunity to investigate it personally.

She's also very passionate about making sure nobody forgets she exists. Kennel time can come with some dramatic howling and complaints-even when her people are approximately six feet away. Cher has feelings, and everyone will be hearing about them.

Cher is still very much a puppy, so she's mouthy, mischievous, occasionally naughty, and still working on potty training. She'll need a family ready for structure, supervision, continued training, and **secure fencing** while she learns that not every boundary needs to be personally tested.

But underneath all that puppy chaos is a really fun little dog. Cher LOVES other dogs and is always ready to run, wrestle, and play. She takes corrections from other dogs appropriately and would make a great playmate for another dog who enjoys some good old-fashioned puppy nonsense.

Her breed mix is our best guess, and we can't promise exactly what she'll look like when she's grown-but we can tell you she's going to keep life interesting.

Cher isn't looking for someone who wants a quiet little couch potato. She's looking for a family ready to laugh, train, play, supervise, and help this tiny escape artist grow into the very best dog she can be.

If you've got a secure yard, a sense of humor, and room in your life for a whole lot of personality, come meet Cher!

Rebel Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
At Rebel Animal Rescue, we believe in keeping adoption as simple and welcoming as possible. Instead of strict, one-size-fits-all requirements, we focus on open conversations with potential adopters. We want to learn about your home, lifestyle, and any challenges you might face, and work together on solutions that set you and your new pet up for success. The adoption process starts with a short application, which we review to make sure the match could be a good fit. From there, we arrange a meet-and-greet with your entire family—and for dog adoptions, your resident dogs too. If everyone feels good about the match, we encourage a one-week trial period. This gives you time to see how your new pet settles in. At the end of the week, we’ll finalize the adoption if it’s working out—or welcome the animal back if it’s not the right fit. Our goal is to find loving, lasting homes while keeping the process as stress-free as possible for both you and the animal.
