Cher's Story

Cher will take approximately ten seconds to decide you are her person. What happens after those ten seconds is a full body experience.
She will melt into you. She will lean on you. She will attempt to sit on your lap all 80 lbs of her and she will succeed more often than you would expect. She will wriggle under your arm, between your legs, into whatever small space exists between you and the rest of the world, because that space is where she belongs and she knows it.

She has the smile of a cartoon character and the wiggles of someone who simply cannot contain how happy she is that you exist. She is, in the best possible way, a lot.

About Cher
Middle aged, approximately 80 lbs, entirely baby girl. Warms up in about ten seconds and then she is yours for life. Full body kisses, leans, lap attempts, and wiggles this is not a subtle dog. Catches onto routine quickly and is easily trainable. Not yet tested with dogs, cats, or kids, but confident she would do beautifully with slow and thoughtful introductions.
That smile. Those wiggles. Genuinely to die for.

What Cher needs
A warm home. Somewhere she can wiggle her way onto the couch, into your lap, and eventually into the center of your whole heart.
She is not looking for perfect. Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $275-$325, and $325-$400 for puppies. That said, we do have a sliding scale adoption fee for those below the poverty line who are interested in adopting an adult pitbull mix.
