Cher's Story

Cher is a tiny tornado with a big personality to match. This little spitfire is always on the move-zooming, playing, and keeping life interesting wherever she goes. She's dog friendly and currently lives with cats, though she really wishes they'd return her enthusiasm for friendship.

When the energy finally winds down, Cher flips the switch into full cuddle mode. She's snuggly, affectionate, and oh-so-sweet-happy to curl up and recharge before her next burst of fun. Peppy, loving, and full of life, Cher is sure to keep you smiling.

Big Paws of the Ozarks's Adoption Policy
All adopters must fill out an application on our website with all necessary information. From there, our staff will conduct a phone interview and answer any questions regarding the dog or the adoption process. Once approved, a meet and greet is scheduled with the family, dog, and dog's foster family. This is the time where other pets can be introduced. If the meet and greet goes well, we can send the dog in a trial adoption for a few days to make sure it is a perfect fit for everyone. From there the adoption is finalized through payment of the adoption fee and transferring of vet records.
