Chelsea's Story

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

Chelsea is a very sweet little girl who loves nothing more than being your loving companion. She can appear to be a little timid at first until she realizes she’s safe. You will never feel lonely as she enjoys following you throughout the day. Be prepared to share your lap as this is her favorite spot. She walks well on a leash and sleeps through the night. Chelsea is a good eater and especially loves carrot treats.

She is about 2 years old. When she came to us she had been hit by a car and had been recovering at the shelter, but so far does not seem to have any issues related to the accident. She gets along well with the other dog in the foster home and seems to love to play.

She came in during first the ice storm and then the snow, so it's really hard to tell if she is housebroken. The foster mom has had her going on pee pads so she may need some work on housebreaking.

She would not to well in an apartment or condo setting since she does have some anxiety and will bark when left alone. She really does need someone, or a family, where someone is home most of the time.

She is located in Williamsburg, Va.

For an application go to www.homesfurhounds.org
