Chelsea's Story

Meet Chelsea 💛

Chelsea’s story starts on the streets… roaming a neighborhood for over a week (and likely longer) before someone finally stepped in and brought her to safety.

When she was found, Chelsea was in rough shape, underweight at just 37 pounds, covered in fleas and ticks, and with sores along her body from scratching. But even through all of that, her spirit never broke. With care, patience, and love, she’s already healing beautifully and starting to shine.

Our vet estimates Chelsea to be about 14 months old, and she still has that young, playful puppy energy. She can be a little hesitant when meeting new people at first, but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up, and once she does, you’ll see just how sweet and loving she truly is.

Chelsea enjoys being around other dogs and would do well with a canine companion. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet. Because of her energy and enthusiasm, she would likely do best in a home with children over 12 who can match her playful spirit.

Like any young dog, Chelsea will thrive with structure, consistency, and continued training to help her build confidence and feel secure. What she’s really looking for is someone patient and kind—someone who will show her that she’s finally home for good.

After everything she’s been through, Chelsea deserves a life filled with comfort, safety, and love.

Apply to adopt:
https://www.buddyandfriendsma.org/adopt
