He survived being shot and hit by a car, and later required FHO (a surgical procedure that removes the head and neck of the femur of the dog with hip issues that limit their mobility, ultimately restoring mobility) surgery. The good news? He’s fully recovered and doing well <br/><br/>Due to his past injuries, Cheeto may occasionally knuckle (knuckling, occurs when a paw curls under, forcing the dog to walk on the top of its paw rather than the pads) on one leg, usually when he’s trying to move too fast or run. He instantly corrects it. It doesn’t stop him from enjoying life — it’s just part of what makes him him.
