Chee's Story

Chee is the smaller half of the pair of dogs that wandered onto a man’s rural property in Greene county. Ty and Chee (get it?) showed up unannounced where resident dogs, chickens and goats lived where the resident who held them for a couple days said they were very affectionate, and pretty nearly housebroken. Luckily they made it here for you to meet. Little, 2-ish year old, 13 lb. Chee is a little Houdini, able to climb out of her enclosure to the fright and delight of the volunteers. She does not want to be a prisoner in a cage, but she sure looks cute peeking out between the railing bars, doesn’t she? Ty would love to go wherever she goes, but Chee is “miss Independent” and if she is adopted without him, she won’t ever look back.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
