Now it’s Checkers’ turn to find his forever family.<br/><br/>While we can’t say for certain what breed mix he is, Checkers has the handsome look of a Blue Heeler/Terrier mix, complete with striking markings and an expressive face that will melt your heart.<br/><br/>Checkers is playful, affectionate, and wonderfully sweet-natured. He enjoys running around, splashing in the water, and soaking up attention from his people. Compared to his sister, he has a slightly calmer and more mellow personality, making him the perfect balance of fun and cuddly companion. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, and kids, and would thrive in a home ready to continue his puppy training while giving him plenty of love, exercise, and companionship.<br/><br/>Checkers is already neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed — he’s more than ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family of his own.<br/><br/>If you think Checkers could be your perfect match, please fill out an application to schedule a meet-and-greet.
