What is Mini Mutts Animal Rescue’s adoption process?

We schedule private meet and greets with approved adopters.  Please email us for an application. We are a foster based program and we all work full time and are all volunteers. We DO NOT do out-of-state adoptions due to required home/fence checks and we prefer to do proper dog introductions with other dogs to make sure it is a good fit before adopting.

What is Checkers’s adoption fee?

Is Checkers good with kids?

Checkers is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Checkers good with other animals?

Checkers is good with other dogs. It is not known if Checkers is good with cats.

When can I meet Checkers?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Checkers?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
