Chase's Story

Chase is a 2-year-old, 15-pound scruffy sweetheart—possibly a Lhasa Apso mix—who is full of charm and personality. This little guy is known for his adorable “dance moves,” especially when food is involved… and yes, he’ll happily dance for anyone’s dinner if given the chance!

Chase doesn’t mind being brushed but isn’t a fan of grooming clippers near his feet, so a patient and gentle approach is best. He gets along well with cats, though he may try to sneak their food if given the opportunity—he’s a clever one!

He has excellent house manners and does well without being crated, as he isn’t a fan of confinement and will protest if crated. Chase appears to be mostly housebroken and thrives when allowed to be part of the household routine. He enjoys other dogs and plays nicely, especially with smaller pups, though he can occasionally become a bit overstimulated—something easily managed with guidance.

Chase would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not, as he loves to follow his people from room to room and be close. A home without small children is recommended, as he can be possessive of his favorite bones.

With consistency, positive training, and lots of love, Chase is going to be a wonderful companion. He’s a loyal little shadow just waiting for his forever home.
