Chase's Story

Chase is a 7-month-old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix weighing in at just 9 pounds, but don’t let his size fool you—this little guy has a HUGE personality and an even bigger heart.
Chase had a rough start to life. He was dumped at the rescue’s door at just a few weeks old, in the middle of an Arizona summer, showing signs of heat stroke. Against the odds, he pulled through—and now he’s ready for the happy ending he’s always deserved. Because Chase grew up without a mama dog to teach him the ropes, new people and situations can be a little scary at first. He might bark and come off as “yappy,” but give him a moment (and maybe a squeaky toy 😄), and you’ll see the truth: a sweet, cuddly, playful baby who just wants to love and be loved.
Is Chase the dog for you?

The place to start is by filing out an application at http://www.azdesertrotti.com/html/to_adopt.htm

Arizona Desert Rotti & Pals Rescue is a NO KILL rescue serving Tucson and the surrounding area.
A home visit is usually required for the safety of our animals. We try very hard to keep our adoption fees as low as possible. We are a non profit charity, and we are completely staffed with volunteers. We require an application approval and a home visit before you can take a pet home. We will make arrangements to meet with you after your application has been pre-approved. You do not have to have a specific dog in mind in order to submit an application. We also need fosters so don't hesitate to ask.
