Chase is a 7-month-old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix weighing in at just 9 pounds, but don’t let his size fool you—this little guy has a HUGE personality and an even bigger heart.<br/>Chase had a rough start to life. He was dumped at the rescue’s door at just a few weeks old, in the middle of an Arizona summer, showing signs of heat stroke. Against the odds, he pulled through—and now he’s ready for the happy ending he’s always deserved. Because Chase grew up without a mama dog to teach him the ropes, new people and situations can be a little scary at first. We check the yard to make sure this little pup cannot escape, no predator can get in, and also to look for hazardous plants.<br/>At the end of the application, please include the type of fencing and the height of the fence you have around your yard.<br/>We do adopt out of area under the right circumstances. <br/><br/>Once you have filled out the application, someone will contact you about the dog to answer your questions and tell you where and when our next adoption event will be.<br/>If you have questions, the best way to contact us is to email suebergier49@gmail.com.
