Chase's Story
Meet Chase! Chase is a 10-month-old Dachshund mix who would like to formally introduce himself as your next full time entertainer. This little guy is your typical energy bunny puppy. He has a zest for life. His tail is always wagging and we swear, there is always a smile on his face. He loves walks, car rides, dog toys, sticks, chasing leaves, chasing grasshoppers, and basically anything else that moves. If it runs, flies, rolls, blows in the wind, or looks remotely interesting, Chase is on the case. He absolutely loves other dogs and is super happy when he has a buddy to play with. Chase is also perfectly happy to play on his own as well. He is discovering that cuddling is actually pretty awesome as well. So when playtime is over, he looks to snuggle up at your feet. Chase is crate trained, but his house training is still a work in progress. Thankfully, Chase is very treat motivated, so he is more than willing to participate in his education when snacks are involved. What Chase really needs is someone who understands that this boy needs to get his zoomies out. He would love an active family who will take him for walks, play with him, let him explore, and give him plenty of opportunities to burn off that dachshund-powered chaos. If you’re looking for a quiet little couch potato... Chase would like to respectfully suggest you keep scrolling. But, if you’re looking for a funny, playful, happy little guy who will keep you laughing and make sure you never have a boring day again, Chase may be your guy. We believe he will weigh around 15 pounds when fully grown, is up to date on his vaccines, and is microchipped. His adoption fee will include his future neuter. Contact us today at adopt@carolinapaws.com

We only accept Adoption Applications within a certain radius of where are volunteers are based. Currently, we are able to accept applications from Mecklenburg and Union counties (NC), and parts of Cabarrus (NC), Lancaster (SC), and York (SC) counties
