I am a 4-year-old, black n white Special Needs parti girl. I belonged to a lady who loved me for about a year. She got me from a previous owner who didn't want me anymore. When we had to move, she went back to work, and I was left home alone for long time periods. This said, I was crated a lot and would be quite vocal; so, no apartments, no condos and no children under 10 years old is best for me. I love being around other dogs but at times I can get overstimulated, so I periodically have anxiety but it's not too bad. I will be okay with one other dog who is very social and would love a pal. I am not playful; I ride okay in a car and right now I am eating but not that much. These rescue folks have been working with me. Someone in my past must have done something that messed up my brain. I've ended up with things that trigger my anxiety and how I act. I am making good progress now and overall; I am doing much better. I still have anxiety issues but not as bad as when I got here.

I am a healthy, loving, sweet Cocker girl about 22 pounds and pretty much house trained. My anxiety is controlled with two medicines; Trazodone and Prozac, about $60 a month for both. I currently take my meds with canned food once a day at night. I am heartworm negative, micro-chipped, updated on vetting needs and I had ear infections, so this has been treated. I am now spayed and I've had a dental. I am a Velcro dog. I will do best with a fenced yard and someone willing to work with me on a regular daily routine. I have learned to use my crate at night, and I stay loose in a bedroom during the day. I am still learning how to just relax and not get stressed. I will do best with patience, love and a regular routine to take my medicine. Fenced yard a must. I have no history with cats.

Adoption Fee $400
