? Meet Charlotte – Our Special 2-Year-Old Poodle ? Charlotte is a beautiful 2-year-old Standard Poodle (~40 lbs) with a heart full of sweetness. She was found as a stray and sadly, no one came forward to claim her. At the shelter, staff noticed she was bumping into things – and soon it was confirmed: Charlotte is blind, most likely due to a genetic condition called optic nerve hypoplasia. ? Don’t let that stop you from falling in love – Charlotte doesn’t let it stop her from living a full, happy life! She is: • ? Incredibly sweet and affectionate • ? Playful and loves exploring • ???? Walks well on leash, following her foster closely • ? Learns her way around the house quickly • ? Very keen on hearing, which helps her get around beautifully • ? Crate trained & potty trained Charlotte is looking for a calm and loving home that understands her special needs. She would do best in a home where the furniture isn’t rearranged often, so she can confidently navigate her surroundings. New people should let her smell their hand first, then she’s happy to soak up pets and affection (especially under the chin and head!).
