Charlotte's Story

Charlotte — A Heart That Never Gave Up

Spayed Female - Approximately 4 years old - Chocolate Color - 20.0 pounds

Charlotte is about four years old, but she has lived through more than most dogs ever should. She survived an at‑home C‑section and was bred far beyond what her little body could handle. For years, she was used, not cherished — yet somehow, she held onto her sweetness.

When Charlotte first arrived in rescue, she was overwhelmed and unsure of the world around her. To help her feel safe, we built what we lovingly called “Charlotte’s little hobo camp.” It had soft beds, a tiny tent, and a long fabric tunnel where she could tuck herself away. She spent her first few days curled deep inside that tunnel, watching the world from a place that finally felt safe. Slowly, gently, she began to come out — and with each step, her personality blossomed.

Today, Charlotte is a tender, affectionate girl who adores toys, gentle attention, and the comfort of being close to people. She gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes — big dogs, little dogs, and everyone in between. She’s polite, social, and easy to have around… though she may sneak a toy or two when she thinks no one is looking. It’s never mean‑spirited — just a funny little habit from a girl who’s finally learning what it feels like to have nice things.

Her sweetness is effortless; her resilience is remarkable. Charlotte is ready for a home that will love her for who she is — soft, hopeful, and finally free to be a dog.

*If you are interested in "Sweet Charlotte" please make sure you have an application on file, before inquiring about her*
(http://www.norcalfrenchbulldogrescue.org/adoption-application.html)

ADOPTION FEE: $1,000 (includes spay, tail removal, current vaccines, palate surgery (uvulectomy), tonsillectomy, heartworm tested - negative and current ear medication).

Contact Info: Prungo2@aol.com
