What is Animal Rescue Recon’s adoption process?

Our adoptions fees help recover our expenses put into the dog for vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. The fee is $300. We will perform a home-check and/or require pictures of your yard's fencing & gates. Typically we do not adopt to families with children under the age of 5 unless we know the history of the dog or have witnessed the animal's exposure and reaction to small children. If you currently own a pet, controlled introductions will be scheduled. Renters must provide a copy of their lease agreement which reflects the property's pet policy.
