CHARLOTTE's Story

My name is CHARLOTTE and my foster mom rescued me just minutes before the vet office closed and I was to be euthanized. That vet clinic had reached out and said they had a young dog that would have to be euthanized if someone wasn't able to come and take her home. They didn't want that to happen to such a nice young dog. That was 4/6/2026.

My family brought me to the vet because they absolutely couldn't keep me for another day, so I was brought in to be euthanized. My foster mom is unclear of the circumstances, but health issues and living out of a car were mentioned. I'm estimated to be about 2 years old.

My foster mom is sure that I am a Border Collie/Cattle Dog cross because I look like an 'ooops' from a friend of hers.

Because there is no history on me, she brought me home overnight to see if I was adoptable and immediately called the vet the next morning to make an appointed to have me fully vetted. I guess I passed her tests!!

My testing included:
Am I house broke?-Yes!
Did I let her sleep all night?-Yes!
Cats? Because she has a couple and several foster kitties-Yes! (I have to admit the alpha cat scared me at first! Well, they all do! But, we're learning to get along.) Cat update. My foster mom has had to keep me separated from the kitties because I want to run after them and bark, probably because I want to herd them.
Walks?-Yes!
Opossums? Interested, but passed right by it at the front door.
Leash? I can even untangle myself-Yes!
Sit?-No-I was told we're going to work on that!
Children? Don't know, but my foster mom feels that will be a Yes, also!
Kennel trained. Yes. After my spay, the Vet office informed my mom that I was kennel trained. Charlotte knew exactly what to do when they asked her to "Kennel Up" before surgery. My foster mom has never had a kennel, only kitty condos for new fosters.

I am all ready to be adopted and have been, treated for worms, ticks and fleas, vaccinated and microchipped.

My foster mom is so excited about my prospect that she wants you to call or text her if you're interested. She's available to answer any questions and would love to make an appointment with you to come and visit me!

Because I'm so keen on being with my foster mom and riding in vehicles, she's going to take me to do errands out of town with her. I'm so excited!

Her name is Juie G and her cell is 507-259-5958.

My adoption fee is $260.
