Charlie (FKA August)'s Story

Poor Charlie (FKA August) just can't catch a break. He was adopted by a "lovely" couple who said he was a great puppy, but puppies were too much work and they just weren't finding it "rewarding". Ugh, and before that, he was one of 5 puppies that were discarded like side-of-the-road garbage, left where cars pass by constantly. Thankfully, they were found and brought to safety before being hit by vehicles.<br/><br/>Now Charlie is looking for a fresh start with a family that will love and adore him the way he deserves! Charlie is about 3 months old, mixed breed (parents were unknown) and is making great progress on potty training. Lakeside Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process consists of a completed and approved application which includes photo(s) of your home, a personal reference and a vet reference if other pets are currently in the home. All applications must be completed in entirety to be considered. Our adoption fee includes your pet's spay/neuter, UTD vaccines and deworming that are age appropriate, rabies and microchip. Meet and greets are only scheduled with an approved application, and no application will be processed if incomplete. You must fill out an application to help achieve our goal of finding permanent, responsible and loving homes for the animals in our care. Applications are not approved on a first come first served basis, but on which home is best suited for the animal. You can find our adoption application online at: https://form.jotform.com/252422309047148 L.A.R. is a foster based rescue out of Orangeburg County, SC and does not have a physical shelter. We rely solely upon adoption fees and donations to continue our mission to rescuing the abused, abandoned and neglected animals of our communities.
