Charlie

Charlie is a one-year-old male Labrador and Hound mix, MARL return. He has the short tail of a hound, but the look of a lab, and size of a Beagle, and he’s not expected to get any bigger, making him a nice medium-sized dog. Charlie is very intelligent and responds well to commands like sit and shake. He is good with other dogs, absolutely loves to play, and enjoys soaking up attention. Despite his size, he has a lot of energy and always wants to figure something out. He has the strong drive like that of a Beagle, combined with a touch of Labrador temperament. He loves anything involving play and can be very vocal and a bit dominant at times, often wanting to be the center of attention or do everything first among the pack. He has been back with us since February 14th.<br/><br/>Labradors are known for their friendly, outgoing, and affectionate nature—they thrive on companionship and love to play and be active. They are water lovers. Beagles are energetic, curious, and have a strong hunting drive, which makes them spirited and driven.
