What is CAMO - Rescue’s adoption process?

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com Emails to inquire are NOT applications to adopt. An application MUST be completed to be considered to adopt. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We are a RESCUE, not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our small dogs in homes with large breed dogs or aggressive breeds. CAMO rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing small dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters. EIN # is 46-5486022 We rescue 800+ animals a year.
