Though he's shy when meeting new people, Charlie blossoms into an affectionate, outgoing companion once he feels safe and comfortable. He's neutered, kennel trained, mostly potty trained, rides well in the car, and gets along with both dogs and cats. Charlie would thrive in a home with another confident dog to help him continue building his confidence. Currently receiving treatment for heartworms and a tick-borne illness, he's well on his way to recovery and is ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family that will give him the love, patience, and security he deserves!
