Charlie is a 4-5 year old, female Rottweiler from South Los Angeles Animal Shelter. It is clear Charlie had a hard life prior to arriving at South LA shelter. She was very emaciated... incredibly underweight for her size and age: 63lbs. Her ribs and hips were visible but luckily, she was with a wonderful foster who has gotten Charlie to a healthy weight! Additionally, Charlie was a mama who has had a litter or two. <br/><br/>Charlie is the most loving girl who was dealt an awful hand at life but now, is looking for a caring, loving and committed family to show her how wonderful the world can truly be! Charlie loves snuggles on the couch, being by her person and patrolling a backyard. She is all the wonderful things about a Rottie: loyal, loving, serious with a hint of goofy, alert and willing to learn! She is learning leash manners, crate training, and how to be loved at the rescue in SLC, Utah currently. <br/><br/>We are looking for a home that knows the Rottweiler breed and can give this girl all of the love and structure that she needs to thrive!
