Charlie's Story
Charlie is roughly 2 years old, and he has spent over 400 of those days waiting for a place to truly belong. Found tied up in the snow and abandoned at Queens ACC, he has every reason to be discouraged—yet he continues to show up every day with an athletic spirit and a heart eager to learn.

Charlie isn't a "starter dog"—he is a "worth-it" dog.

He is incredibly smart, social with other pups, and thrives when he has a routine and clear boundaries. He isn’t looking for a casual roommate; he needs an experienced handler who understands that structure and consistency are the keys to his success.

The Charlie Profile:
Age: ~2 years old (The best age for training!)
Vibe: Smart, athletic, and very eager to please.
Social: Great with other dogs!
Family: Best with older kids (he’s still working on his impulse control!).
The Work: Needs a leader who understands and can manage resource guarding with a positive, structured approach.

He’s waited long enough. Could you be the one to give him the chance he’s been denied for 400+ days?

All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care prior to adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spay or neuter, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment.

A vet reference, home and/or family visit, and an adoption fee are required.

Transport options are available within our operating region, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England.
