Charlie the one eyed Chihuahua's Story
Charlie is an adorable tiny 3 year old, 8 lb long hair chihuahua mixed with what we think is possibly papillon, spaniel or dachshund.
Charlie was rescued from a high kill shelter the day before his euthanasia date. He was originally brought in after being hit by a car. Due to the damage to his eye, we had to have it removed. Charlie is mostly blind in his remaining eye. Charlie does not have control of his front left due to nerve damage. Neither of these stop him! He gets around fine on his other legs and has very keen senses to navigate his space. Our vets and specialists have said that removing his leg is not necessary at this time. He is a very loving boy who loves to snuggle and be near his owner. He would be great for someone with a quiet home who wants a best friend. He’s mostly housebroken and paper trained. He needs a very special owner who can overlook his disabilities and give him a loving home.
Contract us at jjwoofinpaws@gmail.com to apply
